Privacy policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy describes the Clear Think Labs YouTube Automation application, operated by Clear Think Labs. Contact: clearthinklabs@gmail.com.

Information accessed

With the operator’s Google OAuth authorisation, the application accesses YouTube channel identifiers, video identifiers, titles, descriptions, publishing settings and processing information. It uploads video files, thumbnails and related metadata. Through Google Drive it creates or accesses application-created or explicitly selected files, including video archives, metadata and production reports. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored to enable authorised API requests; the application does not request the operator’s Google password.

Purpose and use

This information is used to identify the correct channel, upload and verify content, maintain archives, prevent duplicate uploads and produce operational reports. Google user data is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models. This application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and access

During the current technical test, credentials and working state are stored on the operator’s computer. Video archives and reports are stored in the operator’s Google Drive; uploaded videos and metadata are stored on YouTube. Access is limited to the operator and authorised services needed to carry out these functions. Credentials are not included in public website files or production reports. Storage arrangements will be reflected in this policy when they change.

Service providers and sharing

Google processes the data supplied to Google Drive and YouTube under its own terms and privacy policies. Cloudflare hosts this public information website and may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, for delivery and security. The website contains no Google credentials or private video links. Production tools such as ChatGPT, Descript, Higgsfield and Canva may process production materials supplied by the operator under their respective policies. YouTube or Drive account data is not supplied to these tools merely because the operator has authorised this application.

Retention and deletion

Credentials are retained while the operator requires the connection. Archives, video metadata and reports are retained for channel operation and audit purposes until the operator removes them. To request removal of application-held data or credentials, contact the address above. Files and videos stored in Google Drive and YouTube can also be deleted directly by the operator; removing local credentials does not delete these archives or published videos.

Revoking access

The operator can revoke the application’s Google access at Google Account connections. Revocation stops subsequent authorised API access, but does not itself delete previously stored files or videos. Contact Clear Think Labs to request deletion of remaining application-held copies.

Website visitors

This website has no sign-in, contact form, advertising or embedded analytics scripts. If you contact us by email, we use the information you provide to respond to your request.

Changes

Material changes to these practices will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
